Happiness

What makes me happy?
So much,
You see!

Going out to eat,
Seeing family.

Finding a dollar,
On my school's green grass.
Getting an A+,
In my English class.

Making my friends smile,
Eating pumpkin pie.
Telling a joke,
And laughing till I cry.

Riding my bike,
Feeling the cool breeze.
Playing volleyball,
And sliding on my knees.

The smell of fresh laundry,
A brand new TV show.
Beautiful, curly hair,
Tied with a red bow.

Sunsets on the beach,
Chocolate birthday cake.
Riding in a boat,
And floating down the lake.

An enormous ice cream sundae,
A perfect fantasy.
Riding a roller coaster,
And being filled with glee.

Christmas music playing,
All around the house.
A baby sleeping in her crib,
Quiet as a mouse.

Being wrapped up in a blanket,
With a big fluffy pillow.
Sitting with my grandma,
And learning how to sew.

Hugs,
Kisses,
and Smiles,
From the ones who really care.
Being outside on a picnic,
Nibblin' a juicy pear.

So much makes me happy,
Little things,
Mostly.
But the number one thing that makes me grin?

SIMPLY BEING ME!
