Happy Anniversary
It's been one year since our wedding at home
We had to fight off everyone's opinions, to leave us alone
We've had our good days, and we've had our bad
Had financial troubles which we couldn't overcome without your dad
Car troubles, cat troubles, and emotional woes
Life has certainly kept us on our toes!
It's been one year, and we've made it through
And now, more than ever, I'm in love with you!

Post a CommentThat is sweet. Me and my husband's anniversary is January 15th, right after your apparently. We have been together for 16 years. It has it's share of disappointment, and joy. And together we stand, or divided we fall.
Aww that is such a sweet poem!! That is something I would totally love to do for my husband for an anniversary!! I can't help but be a little critical of the second and fourth lines, but it is sooo cute! I'm taking the last two lines for the end of the poem that you've just inspired me to write!
