You're five now!
Getting here wasn't easy
But you made it look easy
Do you know how strong and special and dear you are?
You're my teacher, little one
Miss Audrey the Wise and Brave
You looked Cancer in the eye and
(rested) SMILED!
(threw up) PLAYED!
(convulsed, trembled) DANCED!
(wore a scary mask) SANG!
(lost your golden hair) GIGGLED!
Happy birthday, Baby Girl
I'll stop calling you "Baby Girl" next year
