HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLE
She called a few days ago just to tell me she was thinking about me. I don't know how we get so busy. I thought when I got older I had visions of myself sitting in a rocking chair on a wrap-around porch somewhere watching fish jump in a lake. Maybe in my mind.
Elle is precious to me. She is the kind of friend everyone should have. She's there when you need her. Has a deep abiding love of the Lord and she's constant.
I miss her, even though she lives about five miles from me, it seems we never have time to sit and enjoy a quiet lunch without one of our cell phones ringing, or someone sending us a text. Did my Grandmother go through this?
