Happy Birthday to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson!

Tiffany Booth
There is no doubt that Michael Jackson's legacy live on forever. Through his music, his fans, and of-course his family. He was undoubtedly the King of Pop. For so many people who grew up listening to his music and watching him dance, we will never forget him.

For some of us, he is what inspired our careers, our dreams, and our happiness. For a man that preached, love, peace, and happiness to the world, his fans will all agree, his time came too soon.

The late King of Pop, Michael Jackson would have turned 52-years old today. For so many of his fans, this day brings back so many memories. I remember doing the moon-walk with my friends and watching the Thriller video for the first time. I remember including his dance moves and songs in my dance recitals as a young girl.

And I remember listening to some of the songs he is famous for like, "Heal the world" and "Black and White" for the first time. Unfortunately, he wouldn't live long enough to see us take his advice, and make the world a better place or treat everyone equal, they way they should be. In fact, in the time since his passing, it seems to have gotten worse.

Some say he lived a controversial life. But since his passing, his fans has chosen to recognize the great things he did, rather than the allegations that never proved to be anything else, than just that.

From watching him sing as a boy with Jackson 5, to his untimely passing last year, Michael Jackson's legacy will never be forgotten. He was and will always be, a Pop Legend, a father, a brother, a son, and a friend. His love and peace inspired lyrics, will forever be a part of music. He is by far, one of the biggest and best influences, the music industry has ever seen.

Happy Birthday Michael- We love you & may you forever rest in peace~

He was without a doubt legendary and unforgettable. I also remember seeing Thriller for the first time, and Billie Jean. Black or White, man that song brings back memories.

No one, and I mean no one, could sing and dance like that. He was a great talent and will be missed.

Yes, rest in peace...he is gone, but will never be forgotten.
