I lost my Father's Day poem (dare I blame AC!)
I must prepare drafts in notebooks hence
But today is Earth Day celebration; I smile
Through the rain showering shoe and head
As I wend my way through our nation's capital
Clouds, rain, sun peek smiles and laugh ahead
I will sort my trash more carefully today
I shall eat no meat or chicken either
These few things I can do for Earth Day
You will find better ways and superior
Even if "Mother" Earth is less true than "Sister,"
Since Earth, Stars and all life is but Created ...
I urge myself and others to celebrate ..answer
today's mail from others who are more dedicated!
