Happy Easter

I thought long and hard
At the best way I could send
Easter wishes to one and all
On this sacred April weekend.

So here it is to you my friends
with all my heart I send your way
the best Easter wishes on this day
As we celebrate He, Who opened the way.

As we eat those chocolates
And hunt those eggs, I humbly pray
that we might keep in mind
the sacrifice He made this past Friday.

And let us not forget
the glorious Resurrection,
that happened the third day
showing us His affection.
