Happy Holidays,Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Jean Davis
Here it is November again.
Tell me, where did the Summer go?
When I opened the door and looked out this morning
the ground was as white as snow.
Excitement is mounting for the holidays ahead.
Soon the "frenzies" will start.
Everyone rushing to and fro but let's try to slow down
and listen to our heart.
The holidays are supposed to be a time of warmth and family togetherness
not worry and stress.
The holiday season has become so commercialized our nerves are put to the test.
The stores are all decked in their holiday best with music of the season everywhere.
There is Jingle Bells, Frosty the Snowman and ,of course, Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Let us try to focus more on Silent Night Holy Night and Peace on Earth- Good will Toward Men.
If we just let the Prince of Peace rule in our hearts we will see a great New Year begin.
