Maybe I should just say what's on my heart.
So, thank you for all you did for me while I lived at home
and for all you do for me, now that I am grown.
Thanks for my first skateboard, and those pads for my knees
and for saying OK, whenever I said... please.
For taking me to the school dance on my very first date
and for not waking up Dad, when I came in too late.
You taught me that when things get hot, find some shade.
When life hands me lemons, make lemonade.
Thanks for always being there for me and I just want to say,
I will always love you Mom, Happy Mother's Day.
