I wake up every morning a nd there is only me.
The other side is empty, this is the place to be.
The other side is empty, this is the place to be.
All alone with my thoughts lying there in my bed.
Sometimes sleeping with book the night before I read.
Sleeping by myself does not require being a lady.
Making embarrassing sounds and smell that are overlooked when you are a baby,
Cellulite and boobs that droop the body childbirth and age inspired.
Fuzzy pajamas and head scarf is my sleeping attire.
I am at a place in my life, I enjoy being with me.
No longer mourning over a man, or the fact I am not a "we."
