Harbor Recreational Park Campground
Another Place to Park the RV when in the El Dorado, Arkansas Area
Crossett, AR 71635
United States of America
Harbor Recreational Park has many hookups. Most have 30 amp electric service with only 2 being 50 amp. There are no pull throughs and none of these RV sites have sewer hookups, but they are large enough for RVs with slides on both sides and they have charcoal grills. However, there is a dump station on the park grounds for guests staying here to use. RVers will also be interested to learn that the roads to the park and the roads in the park are all paved and in good condition.
RVers who choose to stay at Harbor Recreational Park will also have access to the park manager who is a full time resident of the park, a group pavilion, concrete picnic tables, lantern hangers, fire rings, a dump station, clean restrooms and showers and hiking trails. Tents and dogs are both welcome here which is usually good news for those who are traveling in an RV. There is no laundromat at this location.
Rates for staying at Harbor Recreational Park vary depending on the amount of time you are planning on staying. There are daily, weekly and monthly rates available. There is also a discount price for Recreation USA Members of $10 per night and there is also no limit to the amount of days stayed at the park. There are only 2 waterfront RV sites and they are not included on the discounted rate for Recreation USA Members.
Laundromats in the general area range from 8 miles away to 18 miles away. One Hour Martinizing is 8 miles East of the park at 507 East 1st Avenue, Crossett, AR. Akers Laundry and Cleaners is the second laundromat on this short list and it is 18 miles East at 201 N. Elm Street, Hamburg, Arkansas.
Fast food can be found from 8 miles to 18 miles away as well. Taco Bell and McDonald's are both about 8 miles east. Taco Bell is at 109 West 1st Avenue and McDonalds is at 105 Unity Road, Crossett, Arkansas. Sonic is St. Hamburg, Arkansas and is about 20 miles away.
Discount stores are also about 8 miles away. Dollar General is 8 miles east at 821 Fairview Road, Crossett, Arkansas. Family Dollar is also only 8 miles away at 308 Pine Street, Crossett, Arkansas and Walmart Supercenter is the same distance as the dollar stores and can be found at 1308 Main Street, Crossett, Arkansas.
Ashley County Medical Center is about 8 ½ miles away at 1015 Utility Road, Crossett, Arkansas.
Not only is Harbor Recreational Park fairly near the Lion Oil Company Refinery, it is not that far from other places that guests staying here may need to go to, such as the laundry, McDonald's, Walmart or to get medical attention.
