Hard Memories

It's so easy to hide how I feel,
I've had to do it for so long.
My memories are closed with a seal
In my head where they belong.
I've always tried to put on a brave face
So no-one learns about my past,
But as I get older I see more and more days
I've a horrible feeling the seal won't last.
If people knew how I've felt,
They just wouldn't understand
Sometimes I think I'm going to melt
As I hide my tears with my hands
