Harmony

James R. Ford

three young men eating lunch together at a local cafe

one is a christian, one a jew, another a moslem

they laugh, and talk

of late night prime time tv

of that office gal exposing cleavage

intercourse of the stock markets ups and downs

where to go on vacation

the patriots and the steelers, and why the steelers will lose

they work together, lunch together, play together

no signs of internal strife, no politics talked here

three friends, united in lunch, united in life

achieving the most basic of goals, harmonium
