Atlantic City is full of hotels throughout the boardwalk and in the surrounding town. It's difficult to decide where to stay, but if you are looking for a full vacation, this Harrah's on the New Jersey Shore might be a great choice.

The Pool is a destination itself. There's no need to worry about the weather when you are at The Pool at Harrah's since it's totally enclosed in a glass dome. Within this indoor complex you will find not only a pool heated to a perfect 82 degrees, but a place to hang out - day and night. During the daytime hours, you can swim or lounge in one of the whirlpools scattered around the facilities. There's plenty of food and drinks to keep you nourished. At night it's time to get dressed to the nines and play at one of Atlantic City's hottest nightspots.

If you are looking for something a little quieter to do at night between playing the slot machines and trying your hand at blackjack, The Concert Venue at Harrah's offers has a variety of shows all year long, with acts that range from Michael Bolton to Wyonna. Or, you can just relax with a drink at the Eden Lounge.

The rooms at Harrah's are set up so you can enjoy a night away as well as a weeklong vacation. There are over 1,600 rooms and suites in four different towers. They all offering welcoming amenities like refrigerators, in-roof safes, coffee makers, irons and hairdryers. Room service is available with a variety of choices for day and night.

Harrah's has a Red Door Spa on the premises that has 23 treatment rooms, including three for couples. The spa has relaxation lounges, steam rooms, saunas and even a fireplace for cooler days. The spa offers a large array of treatments. Check the hotel website for packages that include spa credits. If you are looking to also stay in shape while on vacation at the Jersey Shore, there is a state-of-the-art fitness center at Harrah's.

You will never go hungry while staying at the Atlantic City Harrah's. There are five fine dining options that offer Steak, Seafood, Italian and even Brazilian fare. For a quick bite, the Taste of the Shore Food Court has pizza and sandwiches. There is also Club Cappuccino, The Deli, Reflections Café and the Waterfront Buffet. You can't leave Harrah's Atlantic City, though, without a stop at Temptations. This sinful spot just outside The Pool offers fine chocolates from Jacques Torres, luscious coffee and chocolate drinks, cupcakes and pastries.

The Viking Cooking School at Harrah's is an unusual option off the hotel's large casino. There have been more than 70,000 students of all ages enjoying the hands on chance to learn how to cook new dishes or create specialty items like Ginger Bread Houses. The hotel offers room packages that include the cooking school, but you can take part in it even if you aren't a guest. If you enjoy good food and wine, Harrah's Atlantic City is also a location for many of the events at the Food Network Atlantic City Food & Wine Festival, held each July. During that event you can meet the Network's stars, sample food and drink and attend seminars on wine and food.

Harrah's is located off the boardwalk on the marina near the Borgata. The location allows for some beautiful bay views of Atlantic City, New Jersey, from many of the rooms. For reservations or more information, visit their website.
