You can't leave Harrah's Atlantic City, though, without a stop at Temptations. The Viking Cooking School at Harrah's is an unusual option off the hotel's large casino. There have been more than 70,000 students of all ages enjoying the hands on chance to learn how to cook new dishes or create specialty items like Ginger Bread Houses. The hotel offers room packages that include the cooking school, but you can take part in it even if you aren't a guest. If you enjoy good food and wine, Harrah's Atlantic City is also a location for many of the events at the Food Network Atlantic City Food & Wine Festival, held each July.
