According to reports from Us Magazine and TMZ, Actor and Director Harrison Ford and his long time girlfriend, actress Calista Flockhart, were married on Tuesday June 15th, 2010 in a secret ceremony at the Governor's Mansion in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Governor Bill Richardson personally presided over the nuptials.

Richardson performed the ceremony under the legal supervision of New Mexico's Chief Justice, Charles W. Daniels, who officially declared the couple legally wed. Also in attendance was Bill Richardson's wife Barbara so the couple could act as witnesses to the ceremony. Both couples are close friends.

Ford, 67, and Flockhart, 45, first met each other at the 2002 Golden Globe Awards ceremony and had been dating for eight years before they were married Tuesday. A representative for Flockhart confirmed that the pair were married while Harrison Ford was in Santa Fe filming "Cowboys and Aliens."

Ford proposed to Flockhart over Valentines Day weekend in 2009. The couple has one son, Liam, who Calista adopted in January 2001. The ceremony was said to be kept quiet so Ford and Flockhart could have the perfect ceremony with their son Liam without the paparazzi taking pictures. There has been no word on whether the pair plans to have a honeymoon after this.

Harrison Ford is best known for his role as Han Solo in Star Wars and for the Indian Jones franchise. Calista Flockhart became famous as Ally McBeal in the TV show of the same name and most recently on the show "Brothers and Sisters."

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart took the #2 spot earlier this year when Forbes Magazine released their list of the top celebrity earners in Hollywood with earnings of $69 million dollars. They were behind Jay-Z and Beyoncé who made $122 million dollars for the year.

isn't it just peachy that celebs always have to do things in a grandios way? Secretly? Governor's Mansion? Your and my taxpayers dollars probably paid for a very expensive reception after the ceremony. Krist! What else are we going to foot the bill for?? Maybe the honeymoon in some far away exoctic place.

There's a bit of an age difference there, huh? Hopefully, Han Solo is up to it... lol Best wishes to the newlyweds.
