It all began at 3:00 am on Black Friday. This is the one sport that I share with my daughter. It's a time of the year where my daughter, and I join the other crazies and shop the day after Thanksgiving. We got to the mall at 4am and the hunt was on. After the first two hours, I needed a breather. Then it happened. An Aroma around the corner was capturing my curiosity. As I struggled with carrying the goodies I already purchased, this aroma sort of reminded me of wanting to be tucked in a nice warm bed. The aroma came from Harry and David, an American premier gift store. I followed the aroma straight to the back of Harry and David's store to a help yourself thermos of coffee. As I prepared my cup of coffee, the intriguing aroma of butterscotch and caramel soothed my soul. I gave one more sniff and then the soft sip, so I wouldn't burn my tongue. "Wow!" said my brain. "Thank you!" said my head. "Let's go back to bed!" said my feet. I looked at the sign below the thermos. It was Harry and David's Christmas Blend with Butterscotch and Caramel that gave me the strength to go on for another 6 hours.

Normally, I am a Dunkin Donuts kind of gal because I do not normally like these flavored coffees. Sometimes you get this after taste of the flavor rather than coffee. However, this one was not overpowering but complimentary to the coffee.

I was lucky that day. Harry and David had a special for us that if you bought anything in the store before 10am you could get 25% off and that included the coffee. Otherwise, the price is steep. For 12 ounces of coffee, the price is normally $12.95. Honestly, and I would not say this if I didn't mean it, but it is worth the price for this special blend of butterscotch and caramel for that special day. The aroma will add to the enjoyment of the coffee. While the children are opening up their Christmas gifts, you will create a new memory for yourself while sipping on this coffee.

Unfortunately, you cannot buy this online. I went to the site, and I could not find it there. Therefore, I assume it is only offered in their stores. However, Harry and David is a well known chain, and I'm sure you can find them anywhere. Also, you can sign up for a preferred customer card whereby they will send you special discounts through your email.

Harry and David's online site offers many of their gifts that you will find in their stores like appetizers, specialty meats, soups, jams, nuts, candies, adorable serving dishes and more. Harry and David can be expensive, however, sometimes for a special occasion it is worth the price. And this Christmas coffee blend of butterscotch and caramel will have sugar plum fairies dancing in your head.
