'Harry Potter' Beauty Afshan Azad Attacked by Brother and Father

Afshan Azad, who plays Padma Patil, classmate to Harry Potter in the film series, was reportedly attacked by her father and brother, who were charged with attempted murder!

The incident occurred on in their home in Manchester on May 21, 2010 according to the BBC, but little is known about specific details at this time. The father, Abdul Azad, 54, and brother, Ashraf, 28, appeared in court Tuesday for threatening to kill their daughter and sister. Ashraf is also charged with 'assault occasioning actual bodily harm' against his sister. The case was continued until July 12th and the two were released on bail.

What a horrific incident. All reports so far are that Afshan is physically okay at this point and likely the only positive news to come out of this story for the talented young star.
