Harry Potter is Dead, Finally

Karen Barnes
While understanding the phenomenon and craze of Harry Potter, it is time to move onto a new craze in the book and movie world. J. K. Rowling certainly has created the stir amongst fantasy lovers around the world. While not wishing any ill harm to her ending the Harry Potter craze, I do hope she finds a new craze to write about.

Seven long books and five even longer movies have warranted the discussions and thoughts of when is enough, is enough? Many people are tired of the Harry Potter craze that has swept the world. The millions of books sold, movies made and money made from the Potter madness, and not to mention the action characters and other items has to come to an end.

Not being a Harry Potter fanatic personally, I am glad to see the book series come to an end. The end of all good things does happen unfortunately. It is now time to find a passion for another writers series, such as, Leven Thumps who is written by Orbet Skye.

While Leven Thumps may not fill Harry Potter's shoes, he surely can give him a run for his money. Leven Thumps will take you on the same mystical journeys Harry Potter has. Not to mention fantasy novels have a following all of their own with any age group.

Harry Potter being the teenage boy that he is does have to grow up, move on, and eventually die. It is human nature to do such things in life. While many will find the end of the Harry Potter series to seem to be the end for them as well, there will be a new life form brought to you in the future for everyone to fall in love with.

This has happened with the Star Trek series, but all five of the different series and movies have come to and end for the Star Trek fans. While they haven't let their sci-fi favorite shows, characters, and movies die, they had to come to the realization that there was an end.

Harry Potter and his crew have found their way to the final place in their journey. Now the journey for Harry Potter fans must be decided on which way to take in the fork in the road. Live forever in Harry Potter world or take the trip to find a new character to immortalize. Whichever road you choose, good luck on your journey.
