Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Predictions for the End

It seems every Harry Potter fan is wondering, "how is the book series going to end?" There are numerous rumors in regards to deaths and endings, however ultimately nobody will know for certain until the book is finally released. Until then, it's fun to guess and take a stab in the dark - something that even those who only know minimally about the books can have a chance at guessing.

My first prediction for Deathly Hallows is taken directly from the title. A holy or revered death caused. It's pretty obvious from this guess that someone or several someones may die, but who exactly dies can be the best guess of all. I have a feeling that in order for the series to end, Harry, our faithful main character throughout these books will perish somehow tragically. How do I feel he will die? Defending his school which had become his home by the end of The Sorcerer's Stone. Harry, who is already known all over as the child who survived an attack that killed his parents and left him with a zig-zag scar atop his head will definitely go out being a hero.

Of course this will take place close to the end of the school year, should Harry take place. That way we can grasp onto more of the story and see how the students have all grown over this last break.

Hermione and Ron will get engaged. Yes. I have a feeling that the young love that is entirely too obvious (in both book and movie versions) will bud into an all out engagement. This has been building up since the early books, obvious by how the two act about each other. I feel it may not happen until after someone comes close to dying or in fact, does die, but it should be somewhat close to the end - since they're getting ready to graduate. This, of course, will fill the emotional aspect of the book and remind us all of young love - perhaps even distract us from the sorrow of someone passing on.

I also have a feeling the school remaining open will be in jeopardy again. Some force this time will almost close the school mid year. This will upset and anger all the students, causing them to try to find out why as a unit and perhaps also lead up to the reason why Harry may die. Perhaps the school will be under a new head that has the sole purpose TO close down the school so that Harry can not graduate. This may also be the last year the school is open - after all, maybe the graduation will commence still after Harry passes on. Then they announce the closing of the school and everyone, utterly depressed, returns home.

My last prediction is in regards to Harry's less-than-loving family back home. I have a feeling that there will be a great sorrow upon them when they learn that Harry has passed away and in their glee and hopes of aquiring the fortune his parents left him, he has in fact left it to Hermione or Ron (or both) to further their educations or even start a life of their own. This will make them even more miserable than they already were, however it is deserving considering how they treated him growing up.

Not only this, but Harry's cousin will flunk out of his school and become a burden to his parents who pampered him and babied him all his youth. Instead of being a family of heirs they will become an even poorer family with a rather large burden on their shoulders.

While nobody can say for certain what will happen in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, it isn't a crime to take a guess or expand your imagination to see what you can come up with .Whatever does happen when the book is released will surely be a best seller almost immediately and cure those who are desperately awaiting this next book. However exciting this last book coming out may be, there will also be a bit of saddness as we all come to the realization that this is the last we will hear of Harry Potter and his friends.
