So, let us start with the gameplay. The controls are simple and very sensitive. You control Harry Potter with the left analog stick or the directional buttons. You cast spells by pressing down the X button and moving the control stick in a certain pattern. This makes spells easy to remember, as well as simple to cast. There is also Dueling in Harry Potter 6. You can meet up with the Al Players in courtyards around Hogwarts and challenge them. You can also playa tournament against many different wizards and witches around Hogwarts. The controls for this are also very simple. All you have to do is press the X, Aim the Analog Stick, and the spell you choose will fire. Different buttons cast different spells at your opponent.
Aright, now let us talk about the graphics. This is where the game really lacks. The characters are blocky and not very well made. This is odd, considering the fact that in past Potter Games, the characters are very believable. This game also has no words. None of the characters speak. There is a caption bubble above their heads. In previous Harry Potter games, the characters would speak, as well as be narrated by a speech bubble.
The storyline is almost exactly the same as the movie (and the book, for all of you who read it). Harry has to get a memory from Professor Slug9 horn. He uses this memory to find the Horcruxes the Lord Voldemort (Tom Riddle) has hidden and guarded. The game ends with you going to the cave and retrieving the Horcrux. You have you fight off the Infiri, just like Harry did in the book.
In conclusion, this is a fantastic game, but it is sort of a let down compared to all the other Harry Potter games I have played. The graphics in this one are better than the graphics in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I would rate this game a 7.5 out of 10. I would have given it more points, except for the fact that it doesn't put out in the graphics area.
You can get this game for about $30 MSRP, and about twenty dollars on EBay. Make sure to rent this one before you purchase, This game is not for everyone.
