Harry Potter Movies Do Justice to the Books

Rachel Heller
Movies seem to bring people together. It seems that many people have come together to see the Harry Potter films. In fact, the Harry Potter films are one of the biggest grossing movie franchises in history. The reason for this could be that these movies have something in them for everyone. There is fantasy, adventure, love, and humor in every Harry Potter film. Moreover, the books that these movies come from are popular as well. Some movies don't do justice to the book or books that help create them. However, I think that these movies stay true to the books. Moreover, because of this, there are only good consequences from the Harry Potter books being turned into movies. This article will discuss some of my favorite parts of the books. In addition, it will discuss how those parts were handled in the movies. In short, both the movies and books provide viewers and readers with that special Harry Potter magic.

"Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" is the first book in the series. I loved the part of the book where the students are getting sorted into different houses. The sorting hat takes a bit of time sorting Harry into Griffindoor. The film does this part of the book justice because the scene is exactly the same as in the book. I also liked the part in the book with the book in which the first Quidditch game took place. This game seams much like soccer. The game is described well in this book. I felt like I was at the game. The Quidditch game in the movie is exciting as well. Yes, there is a bit more description of the game in the book; however, the movie doesn't make a mockery out of the game.

"Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" is the fourth book in the series This book is a pivotal part of the series. I love this book because of the tournament between the different schools. I think it was a great twist that Professor Moody put Harry's name into the cup so he could play. I also liked that all of the students experienced their first loves in this book. They also had to learn to dance with a partner. "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" captured the essence of those two events nicely. The moviegoers weren't misled by the movie. In other words, the movie and the book are similar.

" Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" is the darkest book and movie. This is because something bad happens to one of the main characters. Harry and his friends must deal with it This is an important part that was longer in the book.. It is also a bit scary for kids in both the book and the movie. I think the consequences of a darker book and movie are that parents might feel that their kids shouldn't read or see the film. However, It is okay that the movie and book are darker because they show Harry and his friends growing up and facing more mature responsibilities.

I can't wait to see the first part of the last Harry Potter movie. Yes, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be a bit dark. However, it will provide an ending that is satisfying to both readers and moviegoers. The only thing that I don't like is that the last movie will be split into two parts. Otherwise, the movies have done the books justice. In addition, they are pure magic and fantasy.
