Those book parties in the UK are probably a lot more fun (or legit) because of the HP stories taking place there. I remember seeing the press of past book parties at those Waterstone's books stores--and they looked like a lot of fun. America obviously does some of that in various bookstores, but I have a feeling the ambiance might be considerably different. The UK is just a more logical and magical place to celebrate the books. And I'm sure some Americans will be traveling there just for this event...considering they're anywhere from 4-8 hours ahead of America. ;) It also makes you wonder if one of the cast members from the movies may not show up to one of those London bookstores...unless they're just getting their copy in the mail.
