Harry Potter PotterCast to Make U.S. Tour

The Harry Potter podcast tour with your favourite Leaky Cauldron hosts is well on its way. The Harry Potter podcasts have long been popular with Harry Potter fans around the world. The Leaky Cauldron webmistress Melissa and her great sidekicks John and Sue host the show.

To celebrate the seventh and final Harry Potter book, 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows', The Leaky Cauldron crew have decided to take their hit show on a tour of 20 US cities and one city outside the US.

The tour began last week in the western United States, with the first stop taking place in Santa Fe, New Mexico on June 18. Fans from the local area meet up and hung out with the Leaky Cauldron Crew at Maria's New Mexican Kitchen where there are over 100 different margaritas on the menu. Fans had the chance to hang out and discuss their theories for the final book.

After Santa Fe the Leaky team moved on to Albuquerque where they held the first of their three live PotterCasts. The lucky fans that managed to snag one of the limited places were treated to a great performance by wizard rockers, 'Harry and the Potters'

The next two stops took place on the 21 and 22 of June in Tucson and Phoenix Arizona. The Tucson Potter Cast was centred on hotly debated cannon topics and more fun and interesting discussions took place in Phoenix the following day.

June 23 saw the Leaky team arrive in the party town of Las Vegas, where the second mega PotterCast live show took place. Again lucky Harry Potter fans not only got to talk about heir theories with other fans they got the chance to see 'Harry and the Potters' perform live as well as dance their wizard robes and hats off at a dance party.

June 24 to the 29th the Leaky PotterCast tours California, visiting, Thousand Oaks, San Diego and Los Angeles. The final stop in this California leg will take place this Friday the 29th in San Francisco at Borders bookstore on Winston Drive.

After San Francisco PotterCast heads overseas for it's only foreign stop on the tour, London. This special UK Potter Cast will be in honour of another upcoming Harry Potter event, the fifth film, 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'. The UK premier of the film will be taking place in July. This mega event will be a LeakyMug, which means not only will your favourite PotterCasters be there, your favourite hosts from Muggle Net will also be on hand to discuss the film and other Harry Potter topics.

After the UK, PotterCast returns to the US for one last show in California. Fans in Eureka can head to Borders on Broadway for a 7pm show.

July 6 - Eugene Oregon, Borders, Oakway Center at 7pm.

July 8 - Los Angeles, California - a special LeakyMug in celebration of the upcoming film 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'. Time not release yet but it will be the evening at a Borders.

July 13 - New York City, Borders 7pm. Will include discussions of the now release Harry Potter film.

July 14 - Bridgwater, New Jersey. Borders, Columbus Circle at 7pm

July 15 - Columbus, Ohio. Borders Sawmill Road at 7pm.

July 16 - Louisville, Kentucky. Borders S. Hurstborne Gem Lane at 7pm

July 17 - St. Louis, Missouri. Borders Mid Rivers Mall at 7pm

July 18 - Wichita, Kansas. Borders N. Maize Road at 7pm

July 20 - Naperville/Downer's Grove, Illinois. The final show on the eave of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' release. This PotterCast will take place at the biggest Harry Potter book release party in the US. The PotterCast will be held at Anderon's Bookshop. Besides the PotterCast fans can enjoy costume contests and tons of Harry Potter themed activities. This will be an enormous event with thousand of Harry Potter fans, don't miss it.
