Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Movie Mistakes: Sheets Made of Glass?
In the first scene of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter is practicing the Lumos spell. In order for the light to appear as it did, there had to be a light and a piece of glass placed under Daniel Radcliffe. If you look closely you can see the sheet of glass, where a regular bed sheet should be.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Movie Mistakes: Those Darn Roaming Pimples
Throughout Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Ron's pimples seem to move all over his face. This mistake was easier to explain than most. It would be hard to apply the pimples in the exact same spot each time.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Movie Mistakes: Mysterious Grass Patch
When Harry and Hermione are thrown from the Whomping Willow, they have a hard landing. But, if you look closely, you will see that the grass patch they land on looks different then the rest of the grass. This is because there was a soft matt there to catch them.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Movie Mistakes: Pesky Moving Mud
During the scenes of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, where they have turned back time, the mud on Hermione's jeans keeps showing up in different spots. You would think they would have just had one pair of mud covered jeans for the scene, but obviously not.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Movie Mistakes: Where Is the Moon?
In one of the last scenes of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban we see a cloud move away from the moon. The moon is off to the right, but the light appears to be coming from somewhere in front of the actors.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Movie Mistakes: The Mysterious Moving Scar
Another placement mistake found throughout the movie is Harry Potter's scar. Throughout Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the scar of Harry's forehead moves to several different locations. In one scene it's in the center of his forehead, then in another it may be off to the side.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Movie Mistakes: Missing Scar
Not only does Harry Potter's scar move through Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, but in some scenes he has no scar at all. Talk about a big mistake.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Movie Mistakes: Cables Everywhere
Just like the strings found in the previous movie, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban has a few scenes where you can see cables. For example, in one of the first scenes where Harry blows up his aunt, you can see cables attached to her.

Post a CommentTwo other mistakes: Harry doing magic at home before he is 17, and the headless hunt arriving as the first years enter.
Opening of Azkaban I was sitting with my husband and daughter and I turn to my husband going "Dude hes not suppose to be using magic outside of school!" guess that director didnt think much of plot holes lol I liked columbus better at least he kept it as true to the book as possible....dont get me started on David Yates....
Um real pimples move. you wake up and you have new ones and old ones go away?? And that's a stupid thing about the light. If you were any kind of expert.. as you pretend to be.. you would notice that the REAL mistake there is that Harry can't do magic outside of school so that was a huge mistake in the plot
for goodness sake just leave the films alone it doesn't matter if they got some thing wrong , they don't count on some madly obsesed idiot to pick out minor wrog doings!!!!!
Get a life!!!
Fun read :)
OK Amy, I think we should get them to hire you as director for the next movie. Maybe that way we can finally see a Harry Potter movie without errors in it.
Scars moving? Interesting!
Sophie
I love these things! Thanks!
I've only seen one movie and had a hard time sitting through it. But, if you reveal all of the mistakes, I might be more inclined to watch....(hee,hee)
I missed all of these and I have seen the movie many times! You have a great eye!
