The Elective subjects at Hogwarts are supposedly quite numerous. There are 5 elective subjects mentioned in the book. Harry and Ron take part in two of these and Hermione has done all of them but dropped out of two (divination and muggle studies). Elective subjects are taken from year 3 and up and a minimum of two must be taken. They may be dropped after the OWLS.
# Care of magical creatures- the subject which teaches the students how to care for magical creatures and uses for the mmagical creatures. The teacher of this subject after year 3 is Rubeas Hagrid.

hopefully more subjects will come evident in the seventh book coming out on the 21st of july 2007. stay tunes for updates.

Post a CommentThis is a nice article.I am always interested in Hogwarts subjects.I did not know that a minimum of two electives had to be taken in third year though;I must look at PoA again.
Thanks for this information!
