Hartz Ultra Guard One Spot Treatment for Cats & Kittens: Product Review

Bandit
Hartz Ultra Guard One Spot Flea Treatment comes in a handy three pack and you can't beat the price and we can all use ways to save money with the economy the way it is in right now. Hartz Ultra Guard not only kills the fleas that are on the animal but also kills and prevents flea eggs and larvae for up to thirty days

Topical flea-control treatment is an anti-flea medication for dogs and cats which is applied once per month on a pet's back between the shoulder blades right against the skin. The once a month topical flea treatment remains effective even after bathing your pet and even when they are exposed to rain. There are three main topical flea control brands -- Advantage, Revolution and Frontline which are only sold through veterinarians and come with a lot of expense too and all of which are available in formulations for cats and dogs. If your pet is susceptible to fleas or has flea allergies, you may want to check into an orally once a month flea control medication. There are many choices of less expensive over the counter flea control products, which actually work just as well and can be purchased at stores without the chore of taking your pet to the vet first. Hartz Ultra Guard One Spot treatment is absorbed into the animal's bloodstream, which will make it unfavorable for fleas to survive once they bite the animal.

Fall is here and so are the fleas but it all depends on what neck of the woods you live in if you see fleas on your pets. The part of North Texas where I am the temperature just never dips below freezing long enough to freeze out the fleas, therefore fleas are always a nuisance for me. We have tried flea powders, which are not expensive, but all you have is a cloud of powder to sift through and you have a horrible mess to clean up afterwards. Flea & Tick Shampoos are great but they only kill the fleas that are on the animal at that time. And as far as flea dips go, I refuse to use any type of flea dip on any of my pets because of the foul odor that the dips contain and flea dips always make my dog and cat lethargic and they stay that way for several days so I never use any type of flea dip on my pets. Recently I came across a once a month topical flea drop medicine and when I saw the price, I decided to give it a try.

Hartz Flea Drops contains 3- 0.068 fluid ounce applicators. Each one has a tab that you pop open to apply the solution. The scent of this flea product is quite pleasing to the nose. It is a fresh fruity aroma and does not have a medicinal odor like Advantage & Frontline do. Hartz Flea Drops is applied on your pet exactly like the other expensive ones are which you can only purchase through a veterinarian. We purchased our three pack of Hartz Flea Drops at Wal-Mart for only $5.88. There is only one size available for cats/kittens. There are several sizes to choose for dogs and puppies and no matter what breed of dog you have, Hartz Flea Drops will have just the right size for your dog.

Hartz Flea Drops is available for cats and kittens weighing over 5#

Hartz Flea Drops also carries topical flea drops for dogs too:

Toy Breeds & Miniatures under 15 #

Small Breeds weighing 16-30 #

Medium Size Breeds weighing 31-60 #

Large Breeds weighing over 60 #

I really like Hartz Flea Drops for cats because after the solution is applied and dries, your pet's coat is not greasy at the application site. The solution soaks well into the skin and once the solution dries you cannot see or feel a greasy residue like the other topical flea solutions leave behind. After applying Hartz Flea Drops to my cat, the scratching and itching and chewing stopped within 1 hour of application. The next day our cat Murphy was still not scratching and chewing at herself trying to get fleas.. We could even see any fleas on Murphy.

I give Hartz Flea Drops for Cats and Kittens 5 Gold Paws for a great flea control product that really works!

Hartz has killed hundreds of animals because of the toxic chemicals. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT on your beloved pets.

Although we don't have a cat now, this is information that pet owners should find very helpful.
