Has the Air Force Duplicated Flare Drops

The Phoenix Lights, (look up into the skies). So the lights are back again and everybody has a theory some maybe more grounded than others.

From the article, the FAA Spokesman says these are flares drop from a flight of six F-16's out of Luke Air Force Base. Many conspiracy theorists doubt this and claim a vast government cover-up of alien visitors. Others accept on faith the FAA and Air Force explanations and go about their business with mild interest chuckling the hoopla.

How can we ever know?

Since this is explained as just routine Air Force flights on a training mission, could this not be easily replicated? To put this to bed one way or the other, how about the Air Force announce that on a particular day, at a set time with similar atmospheric conditions it will duplicate the same places they previously filmed.

If it appears to have the same visual effect, then we could reasonably conclude that it is in fact a routine event. If not, everyone could go back to the current status quo of alien visitors and government cover-up.

Everyone who has an interest can then find a spot to observe the drop. News crews cold film the event from the same places they previously filled. Seems pretty straight forward, if the Air Force in willing.
