Has Aunt Jodi Been Cut from the Jon & Kate Plus 8 Show?
Aunt Jodi is shown in various episodes of Jon & Kate plus 8, babysitting the Gosselin children, accompanying the Gosselin family on trips in order to help out, and even coming over to the Gosselin house once a week to, of all things, put away their folded laundry which another volunteer has been good enough to fold the day before. Aunt Jodi always seems patient and kind, and appears to genuinely love her nieces and nephews very much.
Why then, are hundreds of rumors floating around various online discussion boards alluding to the possibility that Aunt Jodi has been cut from the show, and will not be appearing in any future episodes of Jon & Kate plus 8? Did she do something wrong? Is she sick? Are she and her family moving away? According to circulating rumors and a blog claimed to be written by Aunt Jodi's real life sister, no.
In fact, according to the blog at truthbreedshatred.blogspot.com, apparently written by Aunt Jodi's sister, the rumor that Aunt Jodi will not be appearing in any future episodes of Jon & Kate plus 8 is not only true, but the reasons behind the fact are genuinely troubling as well. If viewers are to believe that this blog is indeed written by Aunt Jodi's real life sister, and that the facts she gives are true, then it would appear as though Aunt Jodi is being excluded from any future episodes of Jon & Kate plus 8 due to nothing more than Kate Gosselin's jealousy and need for control.
Is Kate Gosselin jealous that Aunt Jodi does art projects with the kids, showing no concern for the mess she'll have to clean up later? Does Kate think that Aunt Jodi's apparent willingness to allow the children to relax and enjoy themselves at her house in some way reflects poorly on her own mothering practices?
We may never know. It appears as though this issue is a multi-faceted one. One thing is for sure though, and that is that fans of Jon & Kate plus 8 are going to miss Aunt Jodi if she in fact will no longer being appearing on the show.

You know at this point, Aunt Jodi and Kate's brother (Jodi's husband)need to be quiet and respect their privacy. They have been on tv. talking tooooo much about both John and Kate.
I think the tabloids, the media, need to back off as well. What is going now is much more serious then Kate's faults and Jon's faults. Yes she is a different person, sometimes a train wreck in her quest for perfection. Jon for the last 6 month's,according to Kate, seems, by what we see on tv to be shirking some responsiblilitis, and taking off for ski vacations, helping the handicapped. All good, but family is in crisis. I think he said his father did this when alive, and that is what he knows, and he gets to ski and get away to clear his head. :( . That to me is selfish,as well. So,they are both trying to take back their former lives. Because somehow they got lost in kid care and tv. Kate wrote two books and goes for book tours. Jon is trying to find a venue for his passion. Does anyone remember the episode when Aunt Jody watched the kids and gave them gum because the kids said they were allowed to have it. Well, one or more of the kids got gum on their socks and Kate had a fit. She calls up Aunt Jody and yells at here and treats her like she is a child. Kate is selfish.
Jon & Kate, Please breathe! Then pray! I know it is hard right now but you can do it! If you can't forgive each other the forgive the father/mother of your childern! You have 8 cute reasons to stay and get back what you had!! When life gets to hard to stand...Kneel!! Look up to the Son for guidance and warmth! You will be shown the way!! Your right, now is the time to be quiet, save you thoughts and comments, keep thoughts to yourself and think of the children. Judge not lest yea be judged. I watched the Jon and Kate show on Monday night, it made me feel really bad for everyone in the family, especially at the children.s 5th birthday party.
I watched Jodi and her husband being interviewed this morning on television. I have been completely neutral on this situaion and rarely express my personal opinions on these sorts of things. However, I am absolutely in shock about Jodi. Her husband obviously does not have a mind of his own... he has to look at Jodi before he can finish one sentence. I sense MONEY HUNGRY family members here. I think Jodi is jealous and therefore wants to make life harder for John and Kate. She is not helping her neices and nephews, she is only making it more difficult for them. She needs to be supportive of her husband's family and stop slandering them and bringing them further into the spotlight. I am absolutely disgusted by her behavior. She might as well go on TV and say, I am here to make money and I'll make my husband say whatever I want him to unless John and Kate give me some of thier earning. Jodi is gross!!
Me Too Ruth Bradford. Me Too. However, where there is smoke there usually is fire. I think that the media attention on this family has been good monetarily, and bad for Mom and Dad and maybe kids too. Your right. I could never do what they have done and I am not judging. I just think reality Tv shows are harmful to the participants. They have no privacy.
None of really know what goes on when the cameras are off. Walk a mile in the other person's shoes before you comment.None of us are perfect; the only person died on the cross.Marriage is work and much harder when you have to please half the country and you are under a microscope.To feed, clothe and house 8 kids you do what you have to, to support them. I hope it works out for this family. May God Bless them and their children.

I don' think they will see a return of Jon and Kate Plus 8. I think it is over, at least or while. Recent tabloid articles will take away from what we all used to enjoy.
