Has Capitalism Suffered the Crash Effect?

The Migration of Capitalism

Allen Tak

The Greeks, Romans and communism all fell and crashed, has western capitalism taken a similar route, a relevant metaphor is the energy drink crash , you take a sip, feel revitalized and juiced, only to have a big collapse four hours later

Housing bubble rubble

In the 90s everyone was buying houses, moving to the suburbs, lush backyards and pools, like lightening 2008 struck, and they sadly returned to the joys of apartment living.

Over Fed Consumerism heart attack

"Western capitalism probably had half a century of over-indulgence - continued prosperity." Lord Desai: London School of Economics.

Our rich lifestyles gave us a heart attack, consumers are now cutting back, and resulting in a further downward spiral since ours is a growth based economy connected to consumer spending. Don't you give up all those rich foods after a heart attack? Talk about the Bill Clinton post bypass vegan effect.

Capitalism has evolved

In my own words, the old notion of bald haired Capitalists making all decisions is quickly fading, but rather, we need to take this opportune time to help create a system were the poor are not excluded, but treated as equals so their input can drive the economic process.

Now what

Capitalism has moved somewhere, it the natural progression of life, the Greeks influenced the Romans, the Romans Western Europe, and Western Europe our current world system, does this mean that capitalism has taken a new cover in India, China, Brazil etc, where the values of hard work and savings are still prevalent.

So is it dead? You decide that fact.
