Has God Left the Church or Has the Church Left God?

Where is the Glorious End Time Church?

M. Cadwell (Coffee Talk Girl)
Rev 2:5-Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place--unless you repent. God gives us warning in this passage of scripture. Are we listening or have we become like the disobedient children of Israel, wandering in the desert for forty years? Isa 1:19 - If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;

We have stadium sizes churches, with churches on every corner. However some of us are asking, where is God and has he left the church? I'd like to propose this question to you, perhaps the church has left God? What is going on inside the four walls today? Have we succumbed to the worldly spirit of Babylon? Have we been seduced away from God's plan and purpose for the end time church? Have we become a body of believers that look and act no differently than the world? We call ourselves, followers of Jesus Christ, but the world can't tell us apart? Rom 12: 2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

We are now living in a world that seeks after change and evil seems to be running rampant everywhere. Satan, the serpent of old, is whispering in peoples ears fear, doubt, unbelief and death. People are committing suicide, jumping off bridges and over dosing on drugs and alcohol. Marriages are being ripped apart and families are left devastated and wounded by the enemy. Satan is up to his old tricks again, as he has been since the beginning of time. He'll use any means by which he can pollute the Body of Christ and render them useless for God's kingdom. The enemy comes with shame, guilt and condemnation. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. How is it that we have let the enemy control so much? Have we forgotten our God given authority over the power of the devil? Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

The church has gotten in bed with the spirit of Babylon (the worldly spirit). We have tolerated the spirit of Jezebel and she is drunk with the blood of the saints. We can't stand the heat of persecution for the sake of the word. We have allowed ourselves to be manipulated and controlled by the seducing worldly spirits. We have bowed our knee to the spirit of Baal. We have worshipped god's that have no ears, no eyes and are made of stone. (Lev 26: 1 "You shall not make idols for yourselves; neither a carved image nor a sacred pillar shall you rear up for yourselves; nor shall you set up an engraved stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am the LORD your God.

We seek to change things, but in the process we have become seeker friendly and have removed the gospel and replaced it with a less offensive word. Where is God, we ask, why isn't he blessing us? Has he left us? He says - Deut 31:8 And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.". He hasn't left the church, but the church has left God.

The great end time assault on the church has begun. God's warrior's are being threaten and persecuted just like the days of Elijah and Jezebel. Those who stand for righteousness are being preyed upon by the ungodly and the religious. Psalm 1: The Way of the Righteous and the End of the Ungodly 1Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

Satan has found an open door into our churches and he has come in and planted the tares among the wheat. The tares look like the wheat until they mature. When the tares mature there is a distinct difference. We've allowed the enemy to toy with the holy things of God and just like Sampson we've ended up bald and wanting. We've made God a convenience instead of a necessity. We'll allow God to move only when it's convenient for us. If God should offend anyone, we'll make sure that there are those ready with the fire extinguishers to put the fire out. I say, let the fire burn, let the body be purified refined and set ablaze for his purpose. Let the rats and the swine and run down a hill and be drowned in a nearby swamp. The prophets of Baal want a showdown? God's people should be saying, BRING IT ON. God is for us so who can be against us !

1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Jesus is going into his houses of worship that have been desecrated and have become an abomination in his sight. He is turning the tables of the money changers. He is calling them to repent, return to their first works, or else he will remove their lamp stands. The almighty powerful warrior is not seen as a meek and mild, barefoot shepherd, who carries a lamb under his arm. God judges his house first and the judgment has begun. Jesus didn't tolerate it nor did he say conform. He didn't change things to suit the money changers and he spoke in boldness and in truth.

The church is in its greatest hour but we've fallen asleep at the wheel and we are in danger of crashing. God says, Arise and Go! He is on his way back and he needs us ALL to do what he first told us to do. Mark 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. We have become like the children of Israel wondering around in the desert trying to get to our promise land. We have fallen into idolatry and have been indulging on the spirit of pride. We are his bride, but our robes have been soiled and our minds have been controlled like a puppet on a string.

A spirit of apathy, and spiritual blindness has come over us and blinded us to what we are called to do. We move in fear instead of faith. We have hidden behind the mask of deception and religion. The enemy is seeking after those that will walk in disobedience. He's sitting right in our pews and hanging out with our children and in our youth groups. We've allowed it, we've tolerated it and we've even justified it. It's time to kick the devil to the curbside, he has no place nor are we to give him place. We must NOT tolerate the devil to reside in our pews or hangout and become our children's playmate. We must take authority and power over the devil and let him know that the gates of hell will not prevail! The way we do that is to preach the gospel and DRIVE THE DEVIL OUT. The gospel has the power to change the hearts and bring salvation and freedom. Isa 61 The Good News of Salvation1 "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; 2To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.

What is the answer to our dead churches? If we want to see revival in the church the church must purpose to have revival first in our hearts. If we want revival to happen in our churches then we must seek after his heart, his purpose and his plan. Our worldy agendas must go by the wayside. A saying that I've often heard a mighty man of God say. He says, It's time for the church to get off their blessed assurances and go out and bring the lost in. We ALL must be willing to get out of seats, get on our feet and go out into the streets. Jesus didn't wait for them to come to him; he went to them,.SO WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR..GOD..NO, HE IS WAITING FOR US. JESUS IS ON HIS WAY BACK AND THERE ARE MANY WHO WILL BE LEFT BEHIND IF THE CHURCH DOESN'T RISE UP AND TAKE HER PLACE! HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD WOULD SAY TO YOU THIS HOUR!

John 4:35 Do you not say, "There are still four months and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! Luke 10:2 Then He said to them, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.

Prayer: May we purpose it in your heart to make souls, eternity and the harvest our number one priority. May we realize that the things of the world will grow strangely dim. We are only but a vapor and our real home is not this earth. May we break our alabaster boxes and give our best gift to the Lord, the gift of eternal life to another. Oh, Jesus, break our hearts for the lost and let this be the greatest hour for God's end time army of believer's arise and go and bring the harvest in. I rebuke the spirit of fear and intimidation and I ask God to strengthen us and equip us to finish this race and claim the prize, eternal life to another.

    Lord Jesus and repent and sing songs of that repentance, He would desire to come to us and bring us back to Him. The church is not ready to meet Him at His second coming, and yet some individuals will be ready. As Moses said once long ago, who will stand for the Lord? As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Will you?

    our worldly pursuits. To bring God into a conversation, even in business talk, has become commonplace, so no one is offended, because no one is preaching repentance. God is assumed. Jesus is only mentioned to Christians but God is mentioned everywhere. And so which God are we invoking? Jesus' Father or is our Father? The songs have taken the same kind of mantra incantation that the new agers use to invoke their gods. We may feel the spirit, but it may not be the true Holy Spirit, who may be grieving even now at the state of Christ's Church. Who are we worshipping, who are we trying to get back into our lives, because somehow, the God of our fathers seems to have left us. We need to realize we have left Him, we have left Jesus, and we need to re-sing the song, "If My People Which are Called By My Name will Humble Themselves and Pray." If we could have a great gathering off all Christians everywhere on the same day at the same time, no matter what time zone, to bow before the

    I have seen the trend too, mostly in the newer songs. Instead of songs like Come to the Waters, Something Beautiful, and Give Them All to Jesus, songs that spoke of conversion and helping our brothers and sisters to come to Jesus, befriend them, and help them in their spiritual growth, the songs have become about God being way way out there. And while praising God for His glory and majesty are important, they have taken place of the songs of the heart that I know blessed Him way back from the beginning of sacred music to our contemporary music from the 60's to the 80's. I noticed the change taking place in the 90's. Now, instead of singing, Enter His Gates with Thanksgiving in Our Hearts, it has been replaced with Will You Meet Us Here. Instead of the songs where we hoped to see Jesus in Heaven, we have songs ask Jesus to come down to us in the meantime. Not like before, with power and might to live a victorious life and reach the lost, but just to get us thru our struggles in ou
