Has There Been a Coup of the US Government?
A Comprehensive Look at the Estranged American-US Government Relationship
We may want to think of the significance of that message as many of us try to rap our arms around what our eyes sees as the slow disintegration of our republic, we look in bewilderment of what is, and or is not, happening in the federal capital by the elected officials. One could make a convincing argument that the US government is working for the benefit of someone other the American people. Particularly over the past 16 plus years the government has seem to be marching to a silent drummer, much to the distress of the American people. During the past two and half federal administrations, particularly the past two, there has been a orchestrated repositioning of priorities with regards to everything from US international relations with Communist China and other nations who aren't that friendly to American interests and drastic diminishing of American sovereignty, to domestic policies with the blatant unwillingness to stop the mass entry of illegal immigrants and the exodus of production and manufacturing jobs and infrastructure. And lets not forget about the consequences of the privately owned central bank, the Federal Reserve, creating an ole, ole, all come free policy that allowed low-qualified Americans to obtain homes that they could not afford and reducing home lending rates so that it encourage millions of financially illiterate Americans to divest themselves of the one thing that made them truly wealthy, their homes, that has lead us to the worst housing crisis in our nations history. I have to ask the question, if I was an enemy of America, how could I destroy America any better?
In an August '07 issue of the Financial Times David Walker, the comptroller general of the US General Accounting Office, warned, "The US government is on a "burning platform" of unsustainable policies and practices with fiscal deficits, chronic healthcare underfunding, immigration and overseas military commitments threatening a crisis if action is not taken soon." This guy is like your doctor telling you to stop smoking soon or you're going to die. Over the past summer the American people made it clear that we are against illegal immigration and any form of amnesty. Yet, members of our government still seek and encourage a defacto policy of amnesty by allowing millions of illegals, particularly from the Mexico, to continue to flow into our country with the eager assistance of US corporations and businesses. The USA Today reports that a total of 3.2 million-one in six factory jobs-have disappeared since the start of 2000 alone. Yet, the president and Congress continue to engage in critically disadvantageous relations with Red China, as well as other countries, such as India and Russia, to export jobs, technology and business at the same time encouraging low wage foreigners into the workforce. Neither the president, Congress, nor any of the current viable presidential candidates, is addressing the $15 billion per day drain on the US ledger due to the un-Constitutional occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan alone. The Democrat candidates all want to make the gigantic increase in social entitlements of the Bush Administration, with the Medicare Prescription Bill, look like your child's allowance by imposing socialized medical coverage for every US citizen and allowing the Bush Tax Cuts to expire and resetting the tax rates to what they were prior to the cuts, thereby saddling the taxpayers with the largest tax increase in history. As even further evidence of something's gone tragically wrong with the relationship between that American people the government leaders, the Gallup's latest national poll, conducted Jan. 4-6, finds just 32% of Americans approving of the job Bush is doing as president and a mere 23% approving of the job Congress is doing. The previous figures were 32% and 22%, respectively. Congress' approval has been as low as 18% (tied for the lowest congressional approval in Gallup records) in the early months of '07. Yet, the Congress, as well as the president, acts as though they are oblivious to the near unprecedented disapproval of the American people. Or is it that they don't care? What is really going on and why? And, most importantly, are the political creatures that we created destroying our republic by accident or is it deliberate? Franklin D. Roosevelt once said that, "In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happened, you can bet it was planned that way."
It needs be remembered what is the purpose of government supposed to be? According to Abraham Lincoln, "[the government] is to do for the community of people [you and I], whatever they need to have done, but can not do, at all, or can not, so well do, for themselves-in their separate, and individual capacities. In all that the people can individually do as well for themselves, government ought not to interfere. The desirable things which the individuals of people can not do, or can not well do, for themselves, fall in to two classes: those which have relation to wrongs, and those which have not. Each of these branches off into an infinite variety of subdivisions. The first - that in relation to wrongs - embraces all crimes, misdemeanors, and nonperformance of contracts. The other embraces all which, in its nature, and without wrong, requires combined action, as public roads and highways, public schools, charities, pauperism, orphanage, estates of the deceased, and the machinery of government itself. From this it appears that if all men were just, there still would be some, though not so much, need for government." And that according to the US Constitution, this government is just to, "establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity."
With all of the political chatter and rhetoric over the military police actions in Iraq and Afghanistan, whether people who entered the country illegally should be treated as legal citizens, and what party can outspend the other, the biggest threat to the republic goes unmentioned largely. It is the issue that virtually no candidate, Congressional member, and especially not president GW Bush wants to be discussed - the North American Union [NAU], the melting of the governments of the United States, Mexico, and Canada into one superstate, like the European Union. If you want to discover the reason behind the literal disregard of the voices of the American people on so many critical issues one needs to look no further then the covert creation of the NAU and the elimination of America's independence and sovereignty. If one was to step back and analyze what is going on economically, socially, politically, and internationally, as it relates to the US and America, you may want to ask yourself why does it only seem as though everything of real value is leaving? From everything from high paying jobs and the industries that produce them to the investments and the banks and financial/investment houses that encourage economic growth is on a historic exodus. Even with the unprecedented growth of foreign companies, and countries, buying up US businesses and things, you need to know the difference from when your being giving money because you are strong and they want to rise with you and when it is because your a degrading carcass being picked on by vultures and hyenas. When I listen to and read the financial media and analyst, mostly all I hear is of economic and investment growth in nearly every country other than America. America is only seen as a place for other country's products and goods to be consumed and bought. Why is there not any genuine effort to stop or reverse this massive erosion of the economic and national independent fabric that makes us all free, sovereign, and prosperous? Why is it that prominent people and candidates such as Congressman Ron Paul and ex-Governor Huckabee are treated like a step-child who just said a bad word by the Established Media and their agents when Congressman Paul says that the US financial conditions can not afford a large military interventionist policy, that American sons and daughters should be brought back home ASAP, and unchecked social caretaker policies can not be sustained, or Mr. Huckabee touts of the Fair Tax benefits, that would establish the United States as the worlds tax haven and America a destination for business and manufactures, and therefore create infinite jobs and a financial boom that would be reminiscent of the industrial revolution - again led by America?
I do believe that the great majority of clear-thinking Americans see that there is something at work just underneath the surface, just out of sight, when the solutions of our nation's plight seems so at hand, yet none of the political leads seem willing to reach for it. Everything is being done for the benefit of the multinational corporations and international financiers, not for the American people. How else can anyone coherently and logically explain that the strongest defenders and promoters of the sustained invasion of illegal immigrants into America comes not from the foreigners, but from US corporations and US institutions, like the AFL- CIO and the US Chamber of Commerce? How else can it be explained that trade agreements are drawn to benefit multinational corporations and that the government of the US creates, and allows, such an repugnant business atmosphere, with regards to burdensome taxes and regulations, that it benefits and rewards businesses and producers to leave America and keeps others from coming in? How can it be morally explained that the once heralded American educational system has denigrated to the point it graduates children who can not point out America on a map, devoid of a moral compass, nor can not tell you who the Founding Fathers where? And how can it be morally explained that the establishment of the North American Union, that will forever change this republic in every way for generations of Americans, is being workout and discussed only between the head representatives of the countries and corporations, and not the people of America?
During the depression of 1929 neither the US government nor the American people looked for foreigners to bail us out or Congress to "stimulate" the economy by printing so much money that it becomes worthless. What did happen was that the government gave private industry, American private industry, the ability to create jobs that were badly needed, therefore putting money in the pockets of Americans not by tax refunds or government charity, but through hard work and ingenuity. Not to mention that back then US currency was backed not by just our belief in its value, but by the intrinsic value of gold and silver. America had the capacity and capability to take care of herself, as well as a populace who believed that it was our first duty to take care of ourselves, to be independent. Today, the US economy is over 70% dependant on Americans spending themselves into debt. Today, America is the largest debtor nation and dependent on the world for our very existence. Most concerning is that there doesn't seem to be too many people alarmed at our destitute status. The haunting words of J. P. Morgan rings in my ear as he said, "Capital must protect itself in every way... Debts must be collected and loans and mortgages foreclosed as soon as possible. When through a process of law the common people have lost their homes, they will be more tractable and more easily governed by the strong arm of the law applied by the central power of leading financiers. People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders. This is well known among our principle men now engaged in forming an imperialism of capitalism to govern the world. By dividing the people we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us except as teachers of the common herd."
The word posterity means, for all future generations. Are we the people truly vigulent of the actions of the people who we have intrusted, and who have sworn to protect, this republic, our liberties, and our freedoms not just for ourselves, but for our children's childrens? Or do we care more about who's gonna win this seasons "American Idol" or the Superbowl? I know that life is at times so hard that we desire to do anything but bare the responsbility of freedom of concern ourselves deeply with matters of politics, but it is not like we can hop on the Santa Maria and settle another Plymonth Rock or Jameston. John Adams "Liberty cannot be preserved without a general knowledge among the people, who have... a right, an indisputable, unalienable, indefeasible, divine right to that most dreaded and envied kind of knowledge, I mean the characters and conduct of their rulers." We get the government that we desire. If do not wake up soon to the disintegration of our country, that we pay so much lip service to and cartoonish celebration to our cherishment of its freedoms and liberties, we will lose it for ourselves and our posterity. once prophetically said,
