Edibles for the garden
A supplier of Bonnie plants, Main Street offers a wide variety of season appropriate vegetables, herbs and flowers. All Bonnie plants come in biodegradable, Jiffy containers which may be planted directly into the soil.
As more gardeners include edibles in the landscape, Main Street accommodates them with a wide selection of grapes, berries and fruit trees. Three varieties of strawberry plants are currently in stock, as are many choices of summer flowering bulbs.
Summer flowering bulbs should be planted in Zone 7B around mid-April to the beginning of May. Take advantage of potted bulbs already started for your garden or purchase bulbs to start yourself.
Getting the soil just right
The proper soil for your crop is the foundation for its success. Several popular brands of soils, fertilizers, plant food and soil amendments are offered. Some organic products are available for those wishing to participate in the latest gardening trend.
Main Street also has a variety of natural stone and other materials for hardscapes which you may wish to include in your landscape. A full range of hardware to complete your project is also available.
