I watch the news and realize,
Hate Crimes against Indians are on a rise,
in a place I would love to visit someday.
But for now all I can do is- pray, pray, pray...

Hate crimes are a disgrace, I'm sure you'd agree.
I think of all my loved ones there.
I act very cool, but for them I fear.

NOTE: I love Australia and want to visit the country someday. This is not against anyone from the wonderful land of Oz. It is only against wrong-doers, who hate people different from them.

It's a sad world in many ways..people judge on the spot and very harshly.
It is a learned behavior.Sad....
We are all humans. The only thing that separates us from each other is distorted perception.

What a statement of fact & a poetry of motion with words. Truer words were never uttered my friend. Its sad how innocent people suffer from people that they often don't even know. You right on the mark. Great poem & very relevant for this world of ours today. I pray for this very reason. Who knows who's lurking behind blind corners.
