Hate Group Plans Protest at Northern Illinois University Victim Funerals!

Why They Are Picketing This Time

Richard Davis
They hate in the name of God.

They hate people they don't even know.

The Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas and Fred Phelps is coming to your mother or your father or sister's funeral.

This same group of "Christians", who actually did show up at the funeral of one of the Lane Bryant murder victims, is planning to picket and protest at the funerals of two of the victims of the Northern Illinois shootings, Catalina Garcia and Ryanne Mace.

Why? What did Catalina Grace and Ryanne Mace do to have their final respects disrupted by these scum?

They did nothing, except enroll at Northern Illinois University, De Kalb, Illinois. These two young women and their families will once again be defiled at a most sorrowful and hard time by a group whose official church site is www.godhatesfags.com

According to the Chicago area Daily Herald, the picketers will show up and disgrace the Christian religion and the Baptist denomination and act in an extremely un-Christ like way, because Northern Illinois University once hosted a preacher who did not share the views of the Westboro Baptist Church.

It's easy to see what the plan is here. Show up at the services of these high profile events and picket so they can gain publicity, under the belief that there is no such thing as bad publicity. I hate to mention their church name, and also the "good" reverend's name as well, but he is starting to reach into the guts of the community, and he is doing so with impunity. He and his low life pigs have been attacking Chicago and Illinois and its young women who have been slaughtered.

They are not protesting in the name of any god.

They are protesting in the name of hate. To some, that is the devil.

When these "saints" show up at the services of soldiers killed in Iraq there is a group of motorcycle riders called the Patriot Guard Riders that form a wall of resistance and distance to keep Phelps and his gang away from the grieving family.

They do not do the same for civilians, whose only crime is that they died in a place that espoused or entertained a belief different from the Westboro Baptist Church. That, of course, means any church, store, Elks Club, theater, restaurant or ice cream parlor. Have a homosexual buy gas from you and you will have Phelps at your funeral. Disagree from your pulpit and he may be showing up at the services of one of your flock. Serve some spaghetti to two men who happen to walk in together and your Italian mother's funeral service will have picket signs.

Michelle Williams , who reported on the victims of the Lane Bryant murders in Associated Content, has had an ongoing debate with a local Baptist Pastor, who insists that Fred Phelps and his group of haters have nothing to do with the Southern Baptist denomination. That's true, I'm sure. However, if someone took my last name and said that they represent my family and were disrupting the final earthly respects of innocent victims, I'd be out there to make sure the media and people knew that this joker was not family.

There are no Patriot Riders for the targets of Fred Phelp's sickness. This is where we have to call up the militia. Civilian soldiers, if you will. I was so disturbed by this church's action during the Lane Bryant killings that I did a very uncomfortable thing for me. I went to the location of the service and looked for these creeps. I did not see them, so I left. I later heard that they actually did show up and protest. I felt badly because I wasn't there. I am not an activist, so I was feeling totally ill at ease in going. But can we let these disgusting people get away with this without ordinary people doing something?

This is a wake up call and a call to action.

We need to bear witness against this hating church and their defiling actions, with the thought in mind that the dead deserve our respect and the survivors comfort.

If you are Baptist, Catholic,Buddhist, Muslim, Jewish, atheist or pagan, straight or gay, stand up with me and keep these creeps out.

Today we need to start monitoring this Church of Evil and keep them out of Illinois and Chicago. You need to do the same where you live

This ain't Kansas anymore. Who in the hell do these people think they are?

Do you want them at your mother's funeral? They will be.

Email me if you are interested in forming an ongoing resistance to Fred Phelps.

Help me bear witness.
