Faces of Race
Lend me your ear
Love doesn't have a price of fear
Made by a master
Chosen by fate
Discrimination should be eliminated
A sickened hate
Will of soldiers united for a bigger purpose
It will be witnessed
Leaning on one another's shoulders
We come together as brothers and sisters
In God's eyes we look like each other
When the pearly gates open from Heaven above
Exposes the truth and brings out the thunder
When the lightenening strikes maybe you'll feel better
about each other
Lend me your ear
Love doesn't have a price of fear
Made by a master
Chosen by fate
Discrimination should be eliminated
A sickened hate
Will of soldiers united for a bigger purpose
It will be witnessed
Leaning on one another's shoulders
We come together as brothers and sisters
In God's eyes we look like each other
When the pearly gates open from Heaven above
Exposes the truth and brings out the thunder
When the lightenening strikes maybe you'll feel better
about each other

Post a CommentBeautiful poem. You put into words what I long to see someday!
Nice poem, wouldn't it be great if we all stopped judging each other and accepted we are all different, yet the same? :-)
