The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, built in 1893 is said to be haunted. The hotel renovations included an indoor pool on the twenty-third floor. The Victorian styled hotel became one of best places to stay while in Milwaukee. The hotel is truly a work of art all its own. The hotel was home to many movie stars and gangsters alike. The hotel became a popular hotel to have extravagant weddings and elegant galas.

It is said that the 8th floor is where staff members have reported seeing the original owner of the Pfister Hotel and his beloved dog walking the halls. This floor is the storage area of the hotel. The many painting of the hotel do include dog paintings.

Another renovated and renowned hotel is The American Club in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. It was said that the haunting occurs in the east part of the hotel where a woman in room 209 hanged herself after learning of the death of her intended because of an accident in the plant across the street.

It was called an industrial accident at the family owned Kohler Company. Many have seen her standing in her room near a fireplace. Another haunting reported on the third floor by room 315. People say they sometimes see a man walking away from the room. This is were a woman was killed many years ago.

Another haunted hotel is the Menominee Hotel and Casino in Keshena, Wisconsin. Three children running and playing were caught on video camera in the hotel area that was restricted. Upon investigating, the security officer found nothing out of the ordinary, but the as he stood there the video cameras taped the three youngsters running around him. Because this was captured on tape, it was hard for anyone to dispute what had happened in the hotel.

In Maribel, Wisconsin, a hotel on top of the caves of Maribel, once thought to be owned and operated by Al Capone, although the original owner has never been confirmed, was set on fire back in the early 1920's. The entire area surrounding the hotel is wooded, but when there is a new moon, you can see the glowing of the fire that closed the once popular hotel. The third floor was chilling and people who walked in the halls experienced a feeling of hands, cold as ice on their backs.

The second floor was said to have lights flashing back at people who flashed lights in the windows. The basement proved to be another haunting experience as people found blood everywhere. Books have suddenly started burning and people still smell the gases from the sewers when entering the abandoned bathrooms. There are many haunting to contend with everywhere in the Country, Wisconsin seems to have its share.
