Spirits, Legends, and Lore

Explore the haunted streets of Concord with a guide who tells tales of paranormal activities, old burial practices and more. The tour is given by Beyond Twilight Walks, on evenings Thursday, Friday and Saturdays at 7:30pm through Halloween. For more information and to register (required) call 978-269-4237. Burying Point Cemetery

For an informative tour of the Burying Point Cemetery, consider a Haunted Footsteps Ghost Tour. The tour guide tells "true tales of local paranormal activity, chilling cemeteries, Victorian murder, Colonial witchcraft and share personal encounters with Salem's dearly departed" all by lamplight. The tours run nightly between now and Halloween.

The cost of the guided tour is $14, and $8 for children six and up. The tours start at 8 Central Street, in Salem, Massachusetts. For more information call 978-745-0666.

Haunted Hayrides

Take a haunted hayride through Mount Auburn Cemetery, which is located at 508 Mount Auburn Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. For more information call 617-547-7105. Hayrides happen on weekends in October, and on Halloween night. The cost is $5.

Lakeville Haunted House

Get scared for a good cause. The Lakeville Haunted House is a benefit event, where you can walk the spooky grounds. There are indoor and outdoor portions of the haunted tour.

Lakeville Haunted House is open October 20-21, 19-20, 26-27, 2007. The cost is $13. Proceeds from this event are donated to local organizations. Tip: print a $3 off coupon from their web site.

Haunted Pirate Ship aboard Mayflower II

The Mayflower II is haunted with ghosts and pirates. Kids and teens will enjoy this family-friendly evening on the haunted ship. The ship is open from 5:30pm until 8pm. The Haunted Pirate Ship can be found at Plimoth Plantation, which is located on Route 3 in Plymouth, Massachusetts 02362. Their phone number is 508-746-1622.

The haunting starts Friday, October 19, 2007 and lasts until Saturday, October 27, 2007.

    Is Fenway Park on the tour? Up until 3 years ago, that was the #1 such place in MA.
