Do you believe in ghosts? Many residents of Oregon have made reports of seeing, feeling, hearing and being touched by those beyond the grave.

Douglas County, Roseburg, Oregon

In the bank on Main Street, many folks have said unseen people can be heard talking, laughing or running up and down the stairs. Some employees here have witnessed paperwork being knocked off of desks and onto the floors by an unseen force. Cleaning ladies who come in after hours have claimed that they've heard the barking of a dog inside of the bank, but of course, there is no dog found.

In the ladies room on the top floor, bank employees have claimed that they have witnessed toilets flushing when no one toggled the handle. Lastly, the apparition of an older gentleman has been reported by many, wearing a twenties-style outfit and stepping right trough walls.

Lane County, Eugene, Oregon

At the Kmart department store, janitorial staff has claimed that doors in the stock room open and close by themselves, signs that hang from the store ceiling swing back and forth in rows, and one janitor even reported an isle full of talking Elmo dolls, all started talking at once.

Linn County, Albany, Oregon

Before the Herford Steer Restaurant was torn down, staff members reported coming into work to find pictures shifted on the walls, candles turned upside-down, dining chairs knocked over and various other items out of place.

Multnomah County, Portland, Oregon

In the ComedySportz building, many have claimed that they saw the fleeting apparition of a woman in various areas of the business. This specter is believed to be responsible for the sounds of laughing and the female voice that has also been reported here. This woman is also blamed for strange rapping noises and objects being moved from one place to another.

Union County, La Grande, Oregon

At the Hot Lake Hotel, employees and guests have said that they witnessed the sounds of a piano playing when there was no piano in the hotel. Many here have claimed they heard phantom footsteps in the hallways. Also, chairs that were turned upside down on top of tables have been seen falling to the floor on their own. Outside of the hotel, many have reported hearing a male voice speaking quite close to their ear but no one was there. And, in or around the gazebo, grounds workers and patrons have claimed that someone touched them on the shoulder or on the hand.
