Growing up, I always heard ghost stories. These topped the scariest story! A must see If you are ever in the area!

Carbon County Jail/ Old jail Museum

Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania

Alexander Cambell and nine other men where hung for fighting for better treatment and work conditions for their people. Before his death, he placed his hand on the cell wall and said it would not be removed as a symbol of his innocence and they say it still remains there today, after so many attempts to remove it.

Old Torrance State Mental Hospital

Blairsville, Pennsylvania A mental hospital built in 1919 and closed in 1967.

Rumor has it the reason the facility shut down because of the way they treated their patients. Hanging their patients from hooks and leaving them there to die, electroshock shock therapy, just blatant torture for that matter.
People who have snuck into the building say you can still hear the cries and screams of the patients.

Livermore Cemetery

Livermore, Pennsylvania or better known now as Conemaugh Lake (another home town Favorite)
In the 1960's was known as Livermore, until the town flooded due to a dam busting.
1972 the US Army corps of Engineers bought it out to use as a flood control unit and renamed in Conemaugh Lake.

The Cemetery of the town sat up on a hill and still remains there. Some tomb stones are barely visible.
It is locally owned now, the owner has a no trespassing sign on the gate, but people still go to see what the fuss is about!

Strange occurrences happen while at the cemetery. Car noises, visions of wolves, loss of vision etc, Car won't start.
