Have You Allowed the Devil to Seal Your Lips

Peaceful sentiments, we wish to declare peace.
Wishing peace we search, and plead, we search and release.

Seeking peace we look high, we look low.
Yet, His wonderful, complete and total peace ever stands waiting for all to know.

Bestowing peace upon those who accept His gift given to us with amazing grace and love.
Loving us He knew the price, yet still for us did He descend from Heaven above.

Knowing our ignorance, He pleaded for our souls, saying "Father for give them for they know not what they do".
Yet, even as He bled and died for us, it seems only the Devil had a clue.

The Devil seeing the final payment, the ransom note paid, did tremble and shutter..
Yet, soon with a rage, a vengeance turned to seek the ignorant who in vanity and pride did mutter.

Knowing time was shortened, knowing his coming rue, the Devil works night and pay.
Yet, still for the lost have we forgot to pray.

Safety, and security confirmed for all who believe, who trust in the finished work alone.
Yet, how is it our lips are sealed of the battle that was fully won?

My friend peace we have this it is true.
But my dearest friend, this peace we have it is meant to be shared, for others still yet walk in many bitter rue.

Time it is ever short, death it is ever present waiting at every door.
My friend look around and see those who do not know, who may be lost forevermore.

Weep my dearest friend, for those you've neglected to tell, for those who you've told.
My friend accept for another you may not, but my dear if silent you remain it is your hands that will another's blood hold.

Turn, my friend, from the one who as a roaring lion, walks swiftly to and fro seeking whom he may devour.
My friend, remember your power.

True power, strength and wisdom lies with the Lord.
My friend, listen carefully, peace it comes when your trust, your life you commit to the Lord.
