Have You Been Looking for Really Great Pizza in Las Vegas? Try Tonio's Pizza

Located at 4380 South Decatur Boulevard, inside the Korner Store and Deli, is one of Las Vegas' best pizza establishments, Tonio's Pizza. It is on the northeast corner of Decatur Boulevard and University Avenue, between Flamingo Road and Harmon Avenue.

In a city where it can be difficult to find great pizza, this is a well-kept secret and it's fortunate for local residents, especially people living or working in the general vicinity.

All of the ingredients are home made! I could actually recognize this before reading the information explaining it. The crust is a perfect texture, and the cheese is fresh and awesome-tasting. So is the sauce! The toppings are also of the highest quality and add the finishing touches.

Tonio's has a wonderful selection of sandwiches on the menu! Included are Italian Subs, All-American Subs, Tuna, Turkey, Ham, Pastrami, Roast Beef, Super Hot Dogs, Chicken, Classic Burgers and Toasted Bagels. They also have a fantastic deluxe salad.

The people are friendly and will give you first class service.

What I love best about Tonio's are the prices! I often go there for lunch and order pizza by the slice. The cost is only $2.00, which includes a generous amount of cheese and one topping of your choice. Additional toppings are available, which include pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, bacon, pineapple, black olives, ham and jalapenos.

Some of the pizza specials include: 2 large with one item, $15.99; 2 Mediums, $11.99; 1 Large and 1 Medium, $13.99; and pizza bread, $2.99.

Tonio's is open 24 hours and they recommend calling ahead prior to picking up your order. They are also planning to provide a delivery service, which is coming soon.

Most of the large size sandwiches are between $4.00 and $5.00. The Korner Store & Deli has slot machines with a players club and complementary drinks are available for playing a certain amount.

Tonio's is well-suited for the locale, because the area is mixed with businesses and apartment complexes, with few other food establishments between Flamingo and Tropicana. The Korner Store also carries standard convenience store items.

Adjacent to Tonio's is Scoundrel's, where you can order the same food with additional afternoon specials. Scoundrel's is a bar and pub that features music, dancing, pool tables and more.
