Have You Been to San Jose Airport Recently?

Mountain View has many savvy business travelers who make frequent trips to the local San Jose Mineta International Airport. If you are like many people however, air travel is limited to vacations and holidays. As the holiday season quickly approaches, you are probably beginning to make all of your holiday travel plans. If your celebrations include a trip to the airport, you will want to know of the recent changes to San Jose Mineta.

Remember the old terminal C with the open parking lot on the left? That is now a short-term parking structure similar to terminal A. The signs for terminal C are gone, replaced by terminal B. Flights out of terminal B are for the following airlines: Delta, Southwest, Horizon and Alaska. All other airlines are out of terminal A. One other major change is the waitiing areas for passenger pick-up.

There are now nice waiting areas complete with drinks, snacks, and reading material for sale. There is also a full service cafe available in baggage claim. Waiting for your passengers, especially if their flight is delayed, is now much more comfortable than the old way of hanging out in the breezeway in terminal A.
