Bowling parties are probably one of the most popular birthday parties for boys. It is not too expensive to pay for a party at the local bowling alley. About $30 can get you a party for ten kids depending on your area. This price should include the shoes and a few games for each kid. Bowling allies are nice because they are a family oriented environment. You can have the parents drop their kids off or they can stay and bowl with the kids too. If you are planning a boy's birthday party on a budget, bowling should fit into any budget.

Miniature golf is a fun activity for a birthday party. Most miniature golf businesses should have an indoor or outdoor area to host a party. Usually for less than $10 per child all the kids can play a round of golf and enjoy the day. A lot of golf courses will let the birthday kid play for free. Check with your local miniature golf course for party package details. Golf is a great outdoor activity that everyone can enjoy, even the parents.

If your son is a future outdoorsman, have a fishing birthday party. I would call the parents of the kids that are invited to make sure they have their own fishing poles. This type of party can be a great inexpensive party for a young boy. Spend some money on a nice cake and get some extra toys to hand out to as prizes. Have a competition among the kids to see who can get the biggest and smallest of the types of fish in the pond. This party will require more participation from the parents, but it is worth it if your kid loves the outdoors.

Hosting the birthday party at a local park can be pretty cheap. The only costs for this type of party should be the cake and some refreshments for the kids. You can get a pavilion at the park and let the kids play at the playground. Make sure to check the weather before the party since this is an outdoor activity. Let the kids play for about an hour to wear them out then have everyone gather at the pavilion to sing Happy Birthday and open presents. Clean up is easy at parks, just put everything in the park's dumpster. You don't have to worry about cleaning dishes or anything getting broke in your house.

If you are on a really tight budget, just have the birthday party at home. Spending $10 on decorations and another $10 on a nice cake is pretty inexpensive. Some kids don't need to go out to have a party, they are just fine having friends come to their house. They are usually only worried about how many kids they can get to come to the party. Make sure to schedule it on a day that won't interfere with any major sporting events or holidays. This will ensure maximum participation from the kids and parents. There are endless activities you can do at your house for a party. Something as simple as an Xbox 360 party can make a day to by quick. The most important thing to remember is too make sure your child and his friends are safe and enjoy their time.
