Have a Couples Halloween

M. Kaye Hash
Halloween is such a fun holiday, that the only way to make it better is to have a couples Halloween. You don't have to just come up with a costume for yourself when you share the holiday with a friend or loved one and there may be a better chance of winning a contest when there are two or more of you.

Find someone to spend a couples Halloween with

The word couple only means two and does not necessarily mean two people in love. Ask your best friend, your sister, or your girlfriend to share in your Halloween with you. Find someone who is willing to dress up and go out on the town, to a party, or trick or treating with you. This is great if your significant other won't dress up for the evening, just find someone else!

Find couples Halloween costumes

Couples Halloween costumes can sometimes be easier to come up with than individual costumes as you can do so much with two people. Not only can you dress yourself in costumes of actual couples, you can also do costumes such as a Christmas tree and a present or an electric cord and a plug in. Think of items that come in pairs when trying to come up with couples Halloween costumes.

Throw a couples Halloween party

Let all of your friends know that you are throwing a couples Halloween party but explain it isn't about couples in real life. You could have a modern couples, historical couples, or fictional couples Halloween party. Decorate your home based on the couples theme you have chosen. For instance, if you thrown an 80s couples Halloween party, serve 80s candy and listen to 80s music.

Have a happy and safe Halloween with whomever you decide to spend the holiday with.
