Have You Ever Played Naked Twister?

Those who are not really all that familiar with the game, here is a little summary of it. Twister is a game made of a plastic sheet that has green, yellow, blue and red circles placed consecutively all over it. The game uses a spinner to tell you where you should put either your left foot or hand or right foot and hand. Then you put that particular hand or foot on the specified color. The more people you play with the better the game is. Before long you will find yourself all wrapped up with other players.

Body: "Twister" was invented by Charles F. Foley and Neil W. Rabens. A man by the name of Reynolds Guyer often said that he invented it. But according to the Patent office that is incorrect. Guyer was Foley and Rabens boss who have them permission to create whatever it was that they desired to create. This happened to be the game "Twister". Rabens company was going into the ground and he needed a gimmick. When "Twister" was produced from Foley and Rabens, Guyer disagreed with the spinner and said that 2 dice should be there instead of a spinner. Foley and Rabens disagreed, but knew that Rabens was the boss and they must do as told. So they slipped the dice in the box and took it to Mel Taft, who was the head of R&D of Milton Bradley. "Twister" was unaccepted and even referred to as "sex in a box". It was until the game was featured on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson that it became a hit. The audience's reaction was full of laughter and screams of watching both Johnny Carson and Eva Gabor play the game on stage. After this show was aired, that following year three million copies of twister was sold.

Of course, Twister has come along way in the last 30-40 years. Now there are many versions of Twister. There are also very many different ways people play the game. Let's start with the different versions. Twister moves was one of the first new games that was made. Twister moves is of course the regular Twister game, except with the game comes a DVD for your T.V. You pop in the DVD and lay the mat down and the follow the dance moves that it shows you on the T.V.

Perhaps, one of the newer versions of the game in called Twister Scram. This provides with 24 Twister mats which each of the original colors. This game can be played outside do to the weather-resistant mats. The game is played by spinning the spinner and then running off to the mats. If you are not able to get a dot then you are out of the game. Almost sounds like musical chairs.

Lots of different ways have also been created to play twister. It's not surprising that out of these ways that "Naked Twister" has become the most played and the most enjoyable. Naked Twister is just as it sounds. You are all naked and you play the game just you would regular Twister. Perhaps, Strip Twister spilt from Naked Twister. Strip Twister is much like Naked Twister, only difference is, is that you are of course wearing clothes at first. After you have spun the spinner then you will start taking off your clothes.

Some people have even started playing Oily Twister. This is where you put baby oil all over your body. Most people decide to go ahead and strip down while others want to stay fully clothed. However, the game is easier and played better while being naked.

Of course, some people have come up with their own versions of the game. That are incredibly dangerous of most definitely have not been patented. But you can try them at your own risk. Extreme Twister is one of those versions. You are mounted up on huge cliff, while a twister game board has on part of that cliff. Huge magnets hold your limbs from above. When your position is called out, that limb is dropped and if you do not put your limb in position within 30 seconds all your limbs are dropping causing you to fall 3,000 feet. Stupid? Yes. But at your own risk anything is possible. May I suggest a parachute?

No matter which game you play it is certain that you will have fun playing any of them. And it is even more certain that you will get all twisted up.
