Spring break is a time for families to escape from the normal routine of living and experience something different. Little Rock, Arkansas has a lot to offer spring break escapees. There are many downtown hotels to stay in that offer a fantastic view of the historic city. They are ideal places to stay while you enjoy the many things you can do on your spring break vacation. In Little Rock you can find a zoo, the McCain two-story mall, and the newly opened president Clinton Presidential library all of which are good educational family places to go for your spring break vacation.

The entire family would enjoy a day of their vacation at the zoo. The Little Rock Zoo is home to almost 700 animals and includes over 200 species. It is home many exotic creatures including elephants and rhinos. There are many exhibits including a giraffe exhibit, big cat habitat with lion and tigers, a spider monkey and lemur island and a reptile house. There is even a children's farm for the kids. There they can pet and see many animal up close. If you get hungry you can stop by the Safari Café and then take a train ride to the Civitan Amphitheater for a show. Before you head back to the hotel be sure to let the kids play at Kiwanis kids corner before stopping by the Safari trader's gift shop.

After a day at the Little Rock Zoo, you will want to unwind for the rest of your spring break. Take a trip to the mall. McCain mall is home to over 80 specialty stores such as Dillard, Eddie Bauer, and Gap. There is literally something for everyone here. You can spend an entire day here with a food court, Luby's, IHOP, and Johnny Carino's Italian Restaurant. Not only can you shop until you drop, you can also eat until you drop. Start with breakfast, walk, lunch, walk, and finish with dinner. There is no way that you could not enjoy yourself in this two-story mall.

After another nights rest, you may want to mellow out the last day of your spring break vacation with a trip to the Clinton Presidential Library. With over 20,000 square feet of library and museum, this should prove to be an educational and fun experience. In the library you will find an exact replica of the oval office and cabinet room. The Clinton Presidential library is home to the largest collection of presidential paper and artifacts in U.S. History. Also within the library's vicinity is the University of Arkansas Clinton School for public services. The university is located in a renovated 1899 Choctaw station. The library is full of history in more than one way.

A trip to Little Rock for your spring break vacation will not leave you disappointed. With the Little Rock Zoo, McCain Mall, and Clinton Presidential Library, you cannot leave without memories. Little Rock is full of history and family fun. Take out the map, hit the Internet, and find the best deals to get there. Plan your trip well and take enough money. If you do those entire thing then you trip will be perfect. After all, Little Rock is a great place to go to get away from your normal routine and still learn about life.
