Have a Great New Years Party and Remember It

JA Green
A lot of people celebrate New Years with family, friends, food - and alcohol! But do you know you can have a fantastic New Year even if you don't serve alcoholic drinks? Here is a guide on how you can spend a wonderful non-alcoholic New Years celebration.

Some of things you may need are plenty of mixers like orange juice, grapefruit juice, cranberry juice, diet sodas, tonic water, milk and club soda. You may try blending up a few cocktails! There may not be any alcohol at your New Year's party but it is highly likely that your guests would look for something to drink at any point of the night. So nights before the big party, why not try to mix up some simple cocktails and evaluate which has the best combination. You can blend bits of fresh fruits or club sodas with a variety of juices. You may name your own concoctions. Be creative! Grab those fruit juices and start exploring!

Another good idea while spending an alcohol-free New Years is to add a theme to your party or gathering! Why not try a futuristic one, where everyone comes dressed up with shining silver metal foils around their body - or a New Year's Resolution Party! Then people can dress up the best thing that will reflect their resolution for the next year! It would end up to be a night of fun while guessing everybody's resolutions.

And of course, you should not forget the thing that will make it all flow smoothly - music! You can look at your list and sense what kind of songs best fits the mood or theme - the songs that will make them move to the beat as everyone is counting down to the start of a new year. If you decide to incorporate a theme to your party, don't forget to consider it for the type of music you are going to play for your event!

Treat your guests with good glass and dishware. After all, you'll be staying up sober all night! There is no need to worry about broken china. You can be sure that it will add a sense of elegance to the night.

And of course, to prevent your guests from expecting alcoholic beverages - specify on your New year's party invitation that this will be an alcoholic-free night. You don't want your guests bringing unexpected party favours such as bottles of alcohol.

Lastly, just invite those whom you can trust that will respect your non-alcoholic party theme as you won't want the start of the year end up with a big bang of unfortunate events.
