This is a unique guest book idea for your wedding and reception. The piece can first be used at the wedding, and then at the reception, and then after the wedding is over it can be displayed in your home for a wonderful reminder of your wedding day and the guests who came to share it with you. Follow these steps to create and have your guests help you create this wonderful guest book idea.

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED:

First you will need a large framed canvas for this guest book. It is not your traditional type of guest book. You can find large canvases at many craft stores, make sure you get a kind that can be wrote on with a permanant marker that will not smear or smudge. Next, you will need to get your large canvas framed, get it framed with glass, if possible for the purpose of displaying it later. You will also need a few permanant markers so that your guests will be able to sign the canvas. You may also want a small notebook to leave a note for your guests as to how they should sign the canvas.

HAVE YOUR GUESTS CREATE YOUR CANVAS:

To get this canvas signed you will simply display it at the entry way of the wedding ceremony and also at the entry way of the wedding reception for any guests who only came to the reception and didn't make it to the wedding. Leave a note for the guests as to how they should sign it, letting them know if you want them to leave a note of good wishes or simply sign their name. You may want to say in the note that no pictures should be drawn on the canvas to reduce the urge for people to draw on it. Instructions can be helpful at times.

Once your big day is over you will always have this canvas that all of your guest signed to remember your special day by. Hang this special guest canvas in the entry way of your home for guests who come into your home to see.
