Have a Halloween Date!

M. Kaye Hash
Set up a Halloween date for you and your significant other. Many often look at the big holidays such as, Valentine's Day or anniversaries, as special nights to spend with a loved one but a Halloween date can be just as fun and can create a fun memory for the both of you.

Decide on your costumes beforehand for your Halloween date. You do not want to be running around that day trying to figure out and then find the costume you wish to wear. Since your Halloween date will be taking you all around town, choose costumes that are comfortable and easy to move around in, without a bunch of extra parts you have to drag around with you.

Choose a spot in which you will be comfortable having dinner for your Halloween date. You may wish to have dinner at home but you probably wouldn't stand out if you ate at your favorite pizza place or even the mall, while at a fancier restaurant there will probably not be many dressed up.

After you eat dinner, head to a local haunted house for the next part of your Halloween date. Enjoy the inevitable long wait in line while standing in the cold by taking the time to hold hands and cuddle with your partner. Once inside, let yourself be scared to give you another excuse to hold your date and have a good fear-filled laugh together.

You may want to stop in at a party or two after the haunted house as a part of your Halloween date. Step in for a short time to spend time with your friends, see what everyone else is wearing, and give yourselves a chance to show off your own costumes.

Head back home after the parties and spend the rest of your Halloween date sipping hot cocoa and sharing a bit of that Halloween candy!
