There is a game online called Second Life, for those who haven't heard of it. It is the best game I have ever played. It is like a giant 3D chat room. First you have an avatar, which is a 3D person that you can change however you see fit. You can go to different places, which is called teleporting. When you are at a location, there is a general chat, just like in a chat room.

You can also have instant messages with other avatars or people too. You can totally immerse yourself into this environment. You can walk around, sit down, dance, and even fly! In this game you can go shopping with Linden, which is the currency in Second Life. You can go dancing, horseback riding, sailing, sky diving, anything that you can think of basically, you can do it. Most people enjoy the social aspect of Second Life the best. Now Second Life has voice! Just use your microphone, and you will be able to talk to others, with a special download. First of all this game is FREE! I think you have to have high speed internet to be able to download the game. It was not Vista compatible but now I have been told that it might be I am not sure. Just go to www.secondlife.com, and click join now. You will have to make up a name and fill in some information about yourself. Then you will be able to download the game. Once you download it, and enter the world for the first time, you will be in what is called Orientation Island. This is not the game! This is how you learn about the game. You have to follow the on screen instructions and pass four sections, to be able to be allowed into the game.

Once you pass the four sections on Orientation Island, you will be able to go to Help Island in the game. Here you can ask questions, and look around. You will learn even more on this island, and maybe even get some free stuff. All you have to do to leave is open the search box, find a place, and click teleport.

I really hope you try this game because it is very fun, and very addicting. There is a ton of free stuff available, so it can stay free if you want it to.
